The tour of Mont Blanc : the most famous trek in the Alps

The cross-border (France - Italy - Switzerland) hike around Mont Blanc is a unique way of admiring the spectacular peaks and glaciers of the Roof of Europe and its satellite summits, 28 of which soar to above 4,000 m.

This new, easy-to-use guidebook is divided into three chapters describing :

• An eleven-day circuit through the high meadows accomplished entirely on foot,
• The classic Tour of Mont Blanc followed by most hikers, which allows the circuit to be completed in a week,
• Eleven higher-altitude and more rugged variants that can be integrated into either of the two main circuits.

Each stage is illustrated by numerous full colour photographs and a clear but detailed map of the route.
