Michael Wollny Trio
Le pianiste allemand Michael Wollny, récompensé en France par le « Prix du musicien européen » décerné par l'Académie du Jazz, fait paraître coup sur coup deux superbes albums. Ici, "Oslo" enregistré en studio avec un ensemble classique, brouillant définitivement les frontières entre jazz, rythmes rock binaires et expérimentations. Considéré comme le chef de file de la jeune scène allemande de jazz, le pianiste Michael Wollny a été encensé en solo, en duo (avec Heinz Sauer ou Joachim Kühn) et bien sûr en trio. En 2013 sortait le magnifique "Thrill Box" enregistré avec le trio de Vincent Peirani, mais quand on parle de ce virtuose on pense bien sûr à son « art du trio ».
