Spriguns Of Tolgus (plus tard abrégé en Sprguns) était un groupe de folk-rock britannique formé en 1972, qui a longtemps été admiré par les connaisseurs de cette époque. Après avoir réalisé deux albums autofinancés, ils ont conclu un accord avec Decca pour deux autres LP, ce qui a démontré leur originalité croissante et a attiré l'attention de certaines personnalités importantes de ce monde. Après deux albums de Decca, Mandy a décidé de former son propre label et s'est rebaptisée Mandy Morton et Sprguns pour enregistrer l'album Magic Lady. Cela a conduit à un accord de licence solo avec Polydor Norway et deux autres albums ont suivi. Mandy Morton et son groupe ont fait de nombreuses tournées en Scandinavie avant de se séparer en 1885.
