After exploring Cathar Country from the Sky and then investigating that land's riches in Exploring Cathar Country, Philippe Calas wanted to capture the soul and the spirit of local heritage treasures in further photos, immortalising them in even greater detail. Several years of aerial shots later, and working closely with Christian Salès, he published the book Pays Cathare Trésor du Patrimoine. It invites readers to take a fresh look at some of the outstanding jewels that UNESCO intends to add to its World Heritage List. This land has character, and the traces of its past are inscribed in stone. Explore its riches in the pages of this book, complementing the free Cathares, Secrets and Légendes documentary DVD.
