ELVIS IN PARIS - 60TH ANNIVERSARY (Broché)

60^th Anniversary

Elvis in Paris 1959-2019

Paris n'a jamais oublié Elvis !

Elvis coming to Paris was an extraordinary event ; he did indeed have to go to Germany to fulfil his military duties, but the capital of France is the only one outside of the United States that he chose to visit. More surprisingly, he did so three times ! In June and July 1959, and in January 1960. He would later often tell his friends and family that these visits would remain one of his fondest memories. This book takes us back chronologically to the King's passages in Paris through over 700 photographs and documents. Snapshots, sometimes amazing, often unique, that remain sixty years on intact. Paris never forgot Elvis !
