Black and Blue est le 13ème album studio des Rolling Stones et le premier avec Ron Wood. On y retrouve leur style avec un mélange d'influences rock, reggae et funk. L'album a été remixé par Steven Wilson, il comprend les classiques Hot Stuff, Fool To Cry et Memory Motel. Le coffret 4CD + BR inclut également des sessions studios inédites avec Jeff Beck, Harvey Mandel et Billy Preston ainsi que le Live à Earl's Court de 1976. Le Blu Ray comprend le concert au Pavillon de Paris en 1976.

Purement commercial. Le disque bonus (outtakes & jams) n'en vaut pas la peine, et le live at Earls Court fait doublon avec "Love you live" de la même époque. En plus, le coffret est arrivé abîmé, donc plus difficile à revendre à un prix acceptable.
