Présentation en français La réalisation de salles de sports à Froidchapelle (Le Cierneau) et d'un hébergement à Neufchâteau (Le Lac) inaugure le renouvellement des infrastructures des Centres sportifs ADEPS en Wallonie, renouant, près d'un demi-siècle plus tard, avec l'ambitieuse politique architecturale menée à leur création. L'intervention des équipes d'auteurs de projets, réunissant architectes et paysagistes - lauréats des marchés d'architecture -, témoigne de l'attention remarquable accordée aux bâtiments et à leur inscription paysagère : à la lisière d'un sous-bois bordant les Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure à Froidchapelle, pour l'Atelier d'architecture Daniel Delgoffe / Pigeon Ochej Paysage, et à flanc de la colline de Neufchâteau pour Baumans-Deffet Architecture et Urbanisme / Atelier Paysage à Neufchâteau. La photographe Maud Faivre saisit les liens entre les bâtiments et leur environnement, l'écrivain Thomas Gunzig convoque ses souvenirs, le directeur des centres ADEPS Christian Peters réinscrit la politique sportive dans le champ de l'architecture, Michel de Visscher et Victor Brunfaut relatent les processus de choix des concepteurs, l'enseignant en théorie du paysage Axel Fisher mène un dialogue à six voix avec les auteurs de projet, le critique d'art Laurent Courtens s'attache aux interventions des plasticiens Pierre Toby (Froidchapelle) et Emmanuel Dundic (Neufchâteau), et enfin, le critique d'architecture Pierre Chabard croise perception et analyse des deux projets que le présent ouvrage vous invite à découvrir. Présentation en anglais The development of a sports facility in Froidchapelle (the "Cierneau") and accommodation in Neufchâteau (Le Lac) signals the beginning of the renewal of the infrastructures of the ADEPS Sports Centre in Wallonia, southern Belgium, reviving, more than half a century later, the ambitious architectural policy that has led to their creation. The work of project creator teams, combining architects and landscapers - winners of the architecture contracts - is evidence of the remarkable attention given to the buildings and their insertion into the landscape; on the edge of the undergrowth bordering the Eau d'Heure lakes in Froidchapelle, Atelier d'Architecture Daniel Delgoffe (architects) / Pigeon Ocheij Paysage (landscapers), and on the Neufchâteau hillside, Baumans-Deffet Architecture et Urbanisme (architects) / Atelier Paysage (landscapers).
