L'artiste anglo-nigérian Ekiti Sound est de retour avec ce nouvel album, un 'must-listen' absolu pour tous les amateurs de nouvelles musiques africaines qui se jouent des genres et repoussent les limites. Drum Money est un voyage sonore qui marie harmonieusement musiques nigérianes (fuji, juju, afrobeat...), beats électroniques (uk garage, house, d'n'b...) et influences hip-hop (old & new school) pour créer un son tout à la fois absolument unique, résolument moderne et chaleureusement familier. Un univers cosmopolite, une bass music tirant vers la pop mondiale (Nova) Diversité rythmique, rap futuriste, flowkanye westien, riff de fink et balladed old school (Tsugi).
