Depuis ses débuts dans le groupe King Crimson, qui a défini le genre, jusqu'au supergroupe prog inventif et précoce UK, en passant par le mastodonte du prog-pop conquérant qu'était Asia et les nombreux projets qui ont suivi, John Wetton était vénéré comme un colosse du monde du rock progressif. Non seulement il a dirigé trois des groupes de rock progressif les plus populaires de tous les temps, mais John a également joué avec Roxy Music, Family, Uriah Heep et Wishbone Ash. Sa liste de collaborateurs est un véritable Who's Who du monde de la musique rock. De plus, John a sorti pas moins de six albums solo ! Il est donc considéré à juste titre comme un véritable visionnaire de l'écriture de chansons et l'un des plus grands bassistes de tous les temps. Cette collection de 10 CD comprend la première sélection des albums live de John, qui ont été récemment masterisés par Andy Pearce.
